Born Richard Allen, A 6th generation Texan.
At an early age, had the strong desire to write and perform music.
As a North Texas guitarist, singer song writer, recording artist.
Winner of the 2019 North Texas Blues challenge! For the " Trinity River Blues society " Solo Artist category.
Performing For Clubs, Restaurants, Main stages, Big and small! Sharing /opening / headlining: With such Great Tx Artist as: The great, Buddy Whittington, Jim Suhler, Rocky Athas, Ally Venable, West Jeans, Griff Hamlin . The list goes on! As well, performing locally, regionally, nationally:
The Texas Theater. Haltom Theater, House of Blues, Dallas. Fat Tuesday, Memphis. to mention a few. Appearing on radio and pod cast shows: KNON 89.3FM Dallas, The Hang over crew, The Mark Jokel Show, DC Bar side Jive, etc. He continues to play his own blend of Folk Blues / Americana, Texas Rock n Blues = BluesChild.
